Spring of Life

We’re building the American dream ... one home at a time and we’d like your help.

This week at Habitat…Help from some very good neighbors last weekend enabled the project to stay on schedule. Sunday afternoon, while Project Director Roger Matson was checking the work that had been done the previous day, and contemplating whether or not to cancel an inspection scheduled for the next day, two curious teenaged neighbors brought him a glass of water and asked questions about Habitat and if “anyone” could help. A few minutes after Roger answered their questions one returned with her uncle. Together they finished spreading gravel over the perimeter drain tiles. The inspector signed-off the next day and construction can continue. THANK YOU!

Text Box: Our good neighbor Diana (left) and her uncle literally jumped in and helped finish covering the drain tile at the base of the foundation walls last Sunday. Their help enabled us to pass an inspection for that phase of the project the next morning.
